First Blood

I’ve fallen many times already since I learned how to walk after transverse myelitis but this is the first time I drew blood.

One of the guests in Lewis Howes’ School of Greatness Podcast said that you either view the world with fear or possibility: Going out to run every day puts me at risk of falling or getting hurt. But I go out anyway because that’s life. We won’t achieve our goals if we don’t take risks; if we don’t push. The same can be said about love: you can’t win if you don’t join the game. The same goes for everything else in life.

Here is a picture of my bloody hand that broke my fall. I also scraped my knees and that’s still bloody too. Very thankful that nothing broke.
